GAINSBOROUGH CLUB GUEST POLICY

The Gainsborough Club Guest Policy protects the value and privileges of your membership.   We want our members to feel comfortable and eager to share their club with their guests, but as a private club, we want to discourage frequent, re-occurring visits and any perception that our facilities may be used by simply paying a daily entrance fee.

 Out-of-Town Friends and Family

Please feel free to bring out-of-town friends and family to the pool as your guests.  There is no charge for your out-of-town guests.  Our only stipulation is that you must accompany them during their visits; they may not visit without you being at the pool, too.  Members and Guests must sign-in to the Register at the entrance.

 In-Town/ Neighborhood Friends and Family

We welcome visits by neighborhood friends and family, but as a private club, we must protect our members’ privileges and investment.  Members are encouraged to invite neighborhood friends and family as their guests at the pool, but are requested not to exceed two visits per neighbor per season.  Ideally, we hope to make such a positive impression that your guests will be enticed to join The Gainsborough Club.  As with out-of-town guests, you must accompany them during their visit; they may not visit without you being at the pool, too.  Members and Guests must sign-in to the Register at the entrance.

Guest Visits and Fees

In your membership package, you will find two Guest / Visitor Vouchers.  When hosting neighborhood guests at the pool, please fill out a voucher so that we might contact them with follow-up information.  Just drop the voucher into the GUEST FEE cash box at the entrance.  If you need additional vouchers for other neighbors, please contact one of our Board Members.  We hope you will use your complimentary guest vouchers to introduce and promote club memberships to your neighbors and friends.

A fee of $3.00 per guest applies to all visits after your in-town neighbor’s complimentary visits.   The Guest Fee policy applies to all in-town guests, regardless of age.  Envelopes are available at the GUEST FEE cash box to enclose payment or to request billing.

Baby-sitters and nannies in your employ are not considered to be guests and are not subject to guest fees while acting in their care-giving capacity.  Childcare providers are to sign themselves and your children in at the Member Sign-In Register.

Visits by friends and family to observe swim meets are not considered to be pool visits and, therefore, are not subject to guest fees.
